Jewish Family Services is excited to host the “Elders are Our Superheroes” exhibit, a project of the Greater Richmond Age Wave and United Way of Greater Richmond and Petersburg. The project was created by William Fox Elementary students, who made special pieces of art showing the special “powers” of their grandparents. This is a fantastic opportunity for children to illustrate their deep connection with their grandparents, and the value of older adults in our community. The pieces reflect the wide range of diversity and traditions of families in our community, as well as the unique traits that make grandparents a “superhero” to their grandkids. The exhibit will be up through the summer at the JFS office.
