Connecting Hearts Bowls a Strike!

December 16, 2019 By Colton Wood Leave a Comment

Connecting Hearts at JFS hosted a new fundraiser, the Bowling Ball, on November 7 at River City Roll. The Bowling Ball featured speakers including former Governor Terry McAuliffe, Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney and local adoption advocate and musician George Dennehy. Guests also enjoyed music from the Bart Chucker Band!

The Bowling Ball raised $35,000 to support Connecting Hearts at JFS’ mission to find a forever home for every child in central Virginia’s foster care system! We are so grateful to all of the Bowling Ball sponsors: WTVR CBS 6, Debbie Johnston, the Sharp Family Foundation, Hirschler Flesicher, the Promo Department, Shelley and Richard Birnbaum, Homewatch Caregivers of Richmond, John and Junie Myers, Taylor Made for You, Dr. James Burke, Good Neighbor, Ron and Benita Felmus, Sandy Sisisky, Owen & Owens, Susan Brewer, the Lewis Group of BB&T Scott & Stringfellow, Virginia Properties – a Long & Foster Company, Magic Quote, Woody Funeral Home, Marsha and Jay Olander and BB&T Wealth.

Keep any eye out for the Bowling Ball next fall!
